People who think like this annoy me so much!!!!!!!!
Ok, I’m Christian. And I’m not anti gays!! I’m sure that there are many Christians who are anti gays, but I’m also sure I’m not the only one who isn’t!

I personally choose not to read the bible as if it is a factual text that applies directly to today. Just as you can’t open to a random page of the bible and expect it to magically solve your problems for you, you can’t take a piece of opinion text written more than 3000 years ago and expect it to apply to modern society. Yes, it probably does say in the bible that 3000 years ago in Jewish Palestine gays were considered outcasts. But I would like to think that in the past 3000 years MANY things have changed, including this.
But even if someone does happen to be anti gays because of there religion, it’s their business!! Just as much as I support gays, I support the idea that anyone should be free to their own opinion! If some people want to be gay, let them be gay. If some people want to disagree with gays, let them! I do believe that just because someone doesn’t want to be gay themselves or doesn’t agree with it, they shouldn’t stop other people from being gay. But I don’t believe that, for instance, if someone doesn’t agree with gay marriage they don’t care about starving children. When has there ever been any evidence remotely suggesting this at all?!

But most of all, I’m sick of the stereotype that all Christians are heartless idiots who only care about outcasting gays. I’m sure there are many non Christians who are anti gays as well! It’s the stupiedest stereotype ever and I hate seeing people posting anti Christian statuses on facebook thinking they know everything about everything.
